I work with businesses/cafes as a consultant nutritionist. The specific services I offer include:
- Designing seasonal, delicious, nutritionally balanced menus based on local produce. This includes advice on serving portions/sizes and a calorie count for every dish.
- Redesigning traditionally dense and heavy meals such as Lasagna al forno or Shepherd's pie in order to make them more balanced. This might mean creating a lighter version of the Bechamel sauce for example, and adding a sufficient amount of side salad.
- I love to draw on the cultural heritage of a cafe/restaurant and introduce food items that align with a particular culture, traditions, themes and flavours.
- Design the children’s section of the menu to introduce nutritionally balanced and delicious meals, snacks and salads, so that your child feels fuller and happier for longer, as well as builds great food habits even when eating out.
